Error While trying to Setup Infrastructure Definition in Harness
Here is the error message I am seeing when I try to submit the form (GCP, Kubernetes)
Invalid request: error: the server doesn’t have a resource type “Deployment”
Please let me know if anyone know how to resolve this issue!
Vijay,
Welcome to the community and hope you are having a great holiday season.
Are you trying to deploy to GKE [e.g your GCP and K8s comment?]
Probably the easiest way to connect to GKE is just to deploy a Kubernetes Delegate into the GKE cluster.
The Harness Delegate is a service you run in your deployment target environment, such as your local network, VPC, or cluster. The Delegate connects all of your artifact, infrastructure, collaboration…
Then can add the GKE cluster as a Cloud Provider then the Infrastructure Defination:

I’m having the same issue authenticating to an on-prem cluster. I’d like to avoid installing a Harness delegate on the cluster due to the large memory footprint of the delegate. Any advice on troubleshooting this?
